My first go with some thin copper wire! Fingers hurt from all the twisting but it’ll do for now!! .22 shells for the ends.

@KreekWhydenson should be fine with the rubber mallet mate, I use an axe handle and a chunk of fire wood haha great work!

Really nice! If you want to get rid of the little kinks that remain get yourself a rawhide mallet (a wooden one might work too) and give it a hammer along a wooden block and it should be perfect!
