West Yorkshire, UK is the most inspirational place to me. I find the moors to be so incredibly mythical. This was taken in the Calder Valley a few years ago, when the heather fields were at their peak.

@shadowsofthesylvan oh yeah, he even had his own house (think it was a loan from the uni while he taught) and it’s still there today, it even has it’s own Blue plaque saying he lived there haha!
Well hopefully in Autumn all this nonsense will have calmed down and we can grab a pint at the Templar

@Josh That's awesome! I had no idea he taught at Leeds Uni! I only knew about his connections to the Malvern Hills and Oxfordshire! Thank you so much! Actually coming back this autumn. 😁

That’s the Gods country that is! Won’t find a more beautiful land in all of England! Fun fact if you’re a LOTR fan, while Tolkien was teaching at Leeds University (my hometown) he was writing the Lord of the Rings books and took regular visits to the Moors for inspiration on Middle Earth.
